I chose the Mayfair bouquet.
It was quite attractive to me because of the contrasting but tonal colours. It should have been champagne, light pink and a deep "shocking" pink. It had lots of roses. And against the black wrapping it was very striking.

They wrote to say the dark pink roses and the champagne eustomia were unfortunately unavailable and would I be happy with a substitute with dark pink carnations instead of the dark pink roses. They also wanted to substitute champagne lyshantus for the eustomia. Also fine.

I would like to show you what the flowers looked like when they arrived

WHY did the partner florist think I'd want a predominantly yellowy/pink bouquet with all one depth of colour when I'd chosen a highly contrasting bouquet?
They said they had a deep pink carnation to substitute the shocking pink roses. The carnations weren't dark pink.
No mention was made of the yellow.

The recipient was pleased to have the gift and they are certainly pretty AND did arrive on time even though it was a rather late order... I am however still rather disappointed that the blooms did not respect the colour choices I made.

At this point however customer services said they WERE the same colours and offered me a discount for a 5 star review!
I feel "a word" with the florist would be a better idea and may in future prevent others being disappointed.

The dedication for the second time not delivered. The cake was in bad shape.
