First time to try this service. Not a pleasant experience though. Placed the order 8 days prior and asked for a morning delivery. No flowers arrived before 12pm (my definition of morning). Called their support past 12pm (good thing their hotline was easy to get through) and the agent said that their morning delivery is until before 1-pm, and they have no way to know where is the delivery, and to just wait for it. Okay. Waited. Rider (the one with the flowers) called a few minutes after (around 1pm), apologetic, he said the flowers are on the way, had some problems ('nasiraan') and it was also raining heavily. Okay.
Almost 4pm. No flowers still. Called support. Agent said to wait first, and he will call their partner flowershop. Partner flowershop (via agent) said that the flowers are on the way, and it should have been already delivered by this time. Agent said the flowershop will call their rider. A few minutes after, Rider with the flowers called, and is now on the way. Flowers arrived a few minutes after. Rider was apologetic. Flowershop/rider also gave a free heart-shaped balloon, to go with the flowers, as apology/token for the delay.
Flowers looked okay. Close to the picture above (not just in full-bloom yet). The ends of the stems do not contain the usual vial with water. This could have been a good service if only their delivery/logistics is reliable, and there is a way to track it. As mentioned in other reviews here, the unreliable delivery is the most common complaint. On the day of a supposedly special occasion (the reason for the flowers), you are stressing if the flowers will arrive or not - not really knowing where are the flowers you have ordered. They (Flowerchimp or their partner flowershops) could have also been more pro-active in letting their customers know where are the flowers. This was a specific request to deliver the flowers in the morning. They failed. This order was also placed 8-days prior (not rushed). They could have planned it better. They could also have been more pro-active, and prevent their customers call their support hotline to ask where and when the flowers are going to arrive.
Might try other online flower shops, and how their service compare to this. (Pandemic has forced people to buy online now). Hope this was a fair review.
